2. What Personal Data We Collect and Why

A. Contact Form

When you contact us via our contact form, we collect:

With each message we also record the date and time, the page it was sent from and your IP address, to protect our forms against spam and abuse.

B. Careers Roster Form

When you submit your information for hiring purposes, we collect:

• Your full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Your service area of interest and the position you apply for
• Résumé/CV, cover letter or other documents
• Any other information you include

As with the contact form, we also record the date and time, the page the form was sent from and your IP address, to protect our forms against spam and abuse.

Purpose: To evaluate your qualifications for potential employment or collaboration opportunities.
Legal Basis: Consent and pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).

C. Form Messages and Emails

Messages sent through our forms are stored in our own secured message inbox, which only authorized members of our team can access. Messages that our automatic spam filter identifies as spam are kept separately and deleted automatically after 30 days.

When you send a form, our team receives an email notification and you may receive an automatic confirmation email. These emails are sent through an email delivery provider that processes them on our behalf.

D. Website Statistics

We use our own privacy-first website statistics, which run on our own website. We do not use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics. Statistics are collected only if you allow “Statistics” in our cookie banner; without that consent, nothing about your visit is recorded.

With your consent, we record:

• Your IP address and the approximate location derived from it (city, region and country)
• Browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language
• Date and time of access, pages visited, how long each page was viewed and the referring site
• A random visit ID, so the pages viewed during one visit can be shown in order

To find the approximate location, the IP address may be sent to an IP location service. We do not use this data to identify you personally.

Purpose: To analyze traffic and improve website performance.

Note: No personally identifiable data is stored in cookies for statistical purposes.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

• bz_consent: stores your cookie choices with a random consent ID that is not linked to your identity. Duration: 365 days.

As required to document consent, each decision is recorded on our server with its consent ID, date, the choices made and a shortened (anonymized) IP address.

Non-Essential Cookies

These include cookies used for statistics or embedded media (e.g., YouTube videos). They are only set after you consent via the cookie banner.

• bz_sid: a random ID of the current visit, used by our website statistics. Set only after you allow Statistics. Duration: 30 minutes, renewed on each page.

• Consent Records: Kept for up to 10 years as proof of consent, with a shortened IP address only.

Our website and its data are hosted in the United States. Where data is transferred from your region, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses for EU).
